WHAT WE BELIEVE​

STATEMENT OF FAITH​

1. We believe the Bible is the basis of our faith, a divine, inspired Word and infallible authority. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)
2. We believe in the Triune God, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Mat. 28:19, 1 Cor. 8:6, 2 Cor. 3:17, Gen. 1:26, Gen. 1:1)
3. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah foretold by prophecy, presented as King of the Jews but rejected, that He is equal with Father God yet humbled himself to the point of death, and every knee will bow down to Him and declare Him Lord. (Phi. 2:7)
4. We believe that Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, Co-creator of heaven and earth.
   (Mat. 3:17, Mat. 17:5, John 1:14, Heb. 5:5, Heb. 1:8)
5. We believe that Jesus was conceived thru Holy Spirit and was physically born of a virgin according to ancient prophecy. (Isa. 7:14, Luke 1:26-38)
6. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, His Body, which is composed of all people, living and dead, who have been joined to Him through saving faith. (Joh. 1:1-4, Mat. 1:23, Phil 2:5-11, Heb. 1:1-4, Heb. 4:15, Act 1:11, Act. 2:22-24, I Cor. 15:3-4)
7. We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins; He was buried and rose from the dead on the third day according to the scriptures. (1 Cor. 15:4)
8. We believe the salvation of man is wholly a work of God’s free grace and is not the result, in whole or in part, of human works or goodness or religious ceremony, and that God imputes the righteousness of Christ to those who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation. (Eph. 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-7; Luke 24:46-47, John 14:6; Acts 4:12)
9. We believe in resurrection of the dead through the power of the Holy Spirit. (1 Cor. 15:12-20, John 3:16, John 11:25, Rom. 8:11)
10. We believed in the gift of the Holy Spirit. (1 Cor. 12:4-11)
11. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, He has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to individuals. He convicts and draws sinners to Christ, imparts new life to them, continually indwells them from the moment of spiritual birth and seals them until the day of redemption. His fullness, power and control are appropriated in the believer’s life by faith. (1 Thess. 1:5-10)
12. We believe that the ordinances of the Church, given by our Lord, are Baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Communion). (Acts 2:41-42, Exo. 12:17, Exo. 12:14, Acts 16:31)
13. We believe in the Holy Spirit baptism. (1 Cor. 12:13)
14. We believed that man was originally created in the image of God, but the sin of man separated us from a perfect and Holy God. Accepting Jesus is our only way to establishing a relationship with God. (Gen. 1:26, 1 Tim. 2:5)
15. We believe in literal Hell, and literal Heaven. (Luke 16:23, Mat. 8:12, Rev. 21:16-17, Rev. 21:12-14)
16. We believe in caught up of all the saints. (1 Thess. 4:13-18)
17. We believe that Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to disciple men of every nation. (Rom.10:9-15; Acts 1:8; Mat. 28:18-20, I Pet. 3:15)
